Archaic experiments I.: Argentotype meets music

Archaic experiments I: Argentotype Meets Music was created with Hungarian photographer Bianka Julianna Jávorcsik. I wrote a one-page piano score from recurring musical blocks, which she transferred to glass using the nineteenth-century argentotype process, broke and reassembled into new playable configurations. The resulting versions change the form while preserving the material and a recognisable link to the original, exploring how chance and physical transformation can generate new music.
