Leedberg

Leedberg is a renewed version of the community opera Leedberg, de Sage, presented at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel in 2018. Adapting the work for changing groups of amateur and professional performers required flexibility, compromise and numerous rewritings without sacrificing artistic quality. The project taught me that when musicians work together and put their “soul” into the music, the shared act of creating can transcend differences in technical level.
