Párizsba beszökött az ősz, on a poem by the Hungarian symbolist Endre Ady, was commissioned by Aphrodite Patoulidou, who asked me to write a work in Hungarian for her to sing. The poem presents autumn as death entering a lively Paris, and the music moves between those two atmospheres. Distant traces of the Dies Irae, Boris Vian and Sous le ciel de Paris are hidden within the song. Patoulidou performed it with pianist Giannis Zgouras at the University of Macedonia in Thessaloniki on 3 July 2014.
